Glenwood Williams, 86, of Knifley, KY, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at 3:30 A.M. at his home.
He was a son of the late Shelby Lee and Virgie Mae Holt Williams, a retired road construction worker, a farmer who enjoyed raising horses, and he attended Mt. Zion Church of Cod in Casey Creek.
Survivors include one brother, S.L. Williams of Casey County; two sisters, Peggy Harrison of Knifley, Marjorie Tucker of Roley; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Vernon Williams and Barbara Spires.
Funeral service was held Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. (CDT) at Mt. Zion Church of God on Eastridge Cemetery Road with Bro. Chris Murphy and Bro. Bill Warren officiating.
Burial in Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville.
Casket Bearers: S.L. Williams, Bruce Harrison, Dustin Harrison, Doug Gabehart, Jackie Parker, Anthony Brockman, and Bobby Burress.
Honorary: Wayne Eastridge, Todd Humphress, James Berry, Roy Berry, Bradley Tucker, and Doug Spires.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
