Prudence Pendleton Dugins

Prudence Pendleton Dugins was born December 24, 1916 in Green County, Kentucky to the late John Fountain Pendleton and Annie Wilson Pendleton. She departed this life Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the Summit Manor Nursing Home, Columbia, Kentucky, having attained the age ninety-one years, seven months and twelve days.
Mrs. Dugins was a lifelong resident of Greensburg. She was an Elder in the Greensburg Presbyterian Church. She was Master Commissioner of Green County and a legal secretary for Butler and Butler Law Offices. She was a member of The Democratic Woman’s Club.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Irvin G Dugins; three brothers and two sisters, Edward Theo, Fountain Pace, Lt. Col. Ret. Robert W. Pendleton, Paulline Moss and Anna Hutchison.
She is survived by one nephew, Ray  and Kay Hutchison of Gamaliel, Ky; three nieces, Nancy Ann Nagle of Georgetown, KY, Louella H. and Charles Gore of Russell Springs, KY, and Prudence H. and Robert Westholm of Elizabethtown, KY; her cousin, Margaret P. Judd of Greensburg, KY; great nieces and nephews, James Joseph Nagle of Lexington, KY, Cynthia H. Hancock of Columbia, KY, Jennifer H. Corbin of Columbia, KY, Lou Ann Flanagan of Russell Springs, KY, Len Gore of Nicholasville, KY, Dr. Lanny Gore of New Albany, Indiana, and Andrew Westholm of Elizabethtown, KY; plus a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with interment in Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg, KY.
