David Ray Ellis

David Ray Ellis. 50, of Russell Springs, KY, died suddenly Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at the Russell Co. Hospital Emergency Room.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. William (Bill) Ellis.
Survivors include, his wife, Sandra Biven Ellis of Russell Springs; his mother, Hilda Patton Ellis of Jamestown; one daughter, Cristal Marie McClister of Columbia; two step-daughters, Dawnlyn Stamper of Columbia, Sunni Gayle Carr of Owenton; one brother, Mike Ellis of Columbia; two sisters, Kathy Ellis of Bowling Green, Tabitha Ellis of Jamestown; and six grand-children.
He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Melson Ridge United Baptist Church.
Funeral service was held Monday, August 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Ballenger officiating.
Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Casketbearers: Dale Burton, Michael Carnes, Scott Grider, Craig Leach, Frank Loveless, and Wendall Miller.
