Mary Opal Shively Pickett

Mary Opal Shively Pickett, 92, of Highland Heights, KY, formerly of Columbia, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at the Madonna Manor in Highland Heights.
She was the daughter of the late Ed and Ollie Ingram Shively, a retired educator and a member of Park Methodist Church in Lexington.
She is survived by a son, James Pickett of Highland Heights; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan and Bunny Shively.
Graveside service was held Monday, August 11, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Columbia Cemetery with Bro. Raymond Martin officiating.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is assisting with the local arrangements.
