Kathrene Cravens

Kathrene Cravens age 94 years of 108 Montgomery Street, Columbia, KY passed away, Thursday April 10, 2008 at 10:03 PM at her home after several weeks’ illness.
She was the daughter of the late Chalmers and Gertrude Logsdon Powell.
Her husband Walter Cravens preceded her in death on June 9, 1979. Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by two sons, Leonard Earl Cravens on July 22, 1969 and Melvin Thomas Cravens on April 29, 2002; one sister, Dorothy Cloar; two brothers, Oliver Powell and Bobby Myers; and one granddaughter, Brenda Kay Alley.
She is survived by one son, Leon Cravens of Columbia, KY four daughters, Frances Harmon of Columbia, KY, Cecile Alley of Columbia, KY, Norene Harmon of Columbia, KY, Raydean Burton of Columbia, KY and one sister, Rachel Louise Corbin of Salem, Indiana. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives, friends and one dear friend and caregiver, Lola Cape of Columbia, KY.
Mrs. Cravens was a homemaker and member of the Oak Grove God of Prophecy Church.
Funeral services were held Sunday April 13, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Roy officiating.
Interment in the Freedom Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Jimmy Baker, Tony Catron, Clifford Harmon, Larry Harmon, Roger Harmon, Ronnie Harmon and Dale Curry.
