Regina “Jean” Nicholson

Regina “Jean” Nicholson, daughter of the late Luther and Peal Grant Turner, was born on July 13, 1932 in Adair County, and departed this life on Monday, November 27, 2006 at her home in Seymour, IN. She was 74 years of age. She was employed as a clerk at Patti’s and had retired from both Excello Shirt Factory and Seymour Housewares. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bohn of Columbus and Barbara Antle of Bloomington; a son, Robert Dale Nicholson of Seymour; a sister, and brother-in-law, Louise and Sam Thompson of Greensburg, KY; five grandchildren, Robert M. Nicholson, Kevin Nicholson, Matthew R. Nicholson all of Seymour, Kimberly Fields of Columbus and Trent Bohn of Brownstown; a companion for 14 years, Kenneth Ferris. Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Joe Turner. The funeral services were conducted Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Voss Funeral Chapel in Seymour, IN. Burial followed in the Riverview Cemetery. Pastor Jimmy Rodriguez officiated. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or Schneck Hospice.
