Pearl Fudge

Pearl Fudge, 90, of 694 Hatcher-White Road, Columbia, KY passed away, Friday, March 16, 2007 at 1:05 a.m. at her home after several weeks illness. She was the daughter of the late George Birch and Susie Clark Shives Hurt of Metcalfe County, KY She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert “Buddy” Fudge on August 1, 1993. Also preceded in death by one grandson and two great grandsons. She is survived by two sons: Willard Fudge and wife Nan of Glensfork, and Ronnie Fudge of West Hollywood, CA; five daughters: Susie Beasley and husband J. C. of Indianapolis, IN, Juanita Absher of Columbia, KY, Joyce Winters of Naperville, IL, Sharon Goulooze and husband Leonard of Bridgeview, IL, and Joann Trumpis and husband Pete of Naperville, IL; one brother Lois Hurt of Fairmont, IN; four sisters: Betty Lou Robertson, Alice Sue Gibson, and Bobbie Coomer all of Edmonton, KY, and Imogene Ross of New Palestine, IN; 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Fudge was a member of the Church of God in Worth, Illinois and was a factory worker in the Chicago area for many years. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY with Rev. Victor Flowers officiating. Interment was in the Moore Springs Cemetery in Metcalfe County, KY. Grandsons served as pallbearers and granddaughters as honorary pallbearers.
