Robert Ray Patton

Robert Ray Patton, 71, of North Wilkesboro N.C. passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at Brithaven Nursing Center in Wilkesboro N.C. He was born February 16, 1937 to Lewis Franklin Patton and Eula Pike Patton in Adair County, KY. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Rick Patton and several brothers and sisters.
Robert was a member of Northwest Presbyterian Church in North Wilkesboro. He served as a Vice President and District Manager of American General for thirty-five years. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory include; his wife of fifty years Anna Jo Patton of the home; two daughters, Jane Joyner and husband Bill of N. Wilkesboro and Nina Maier and husband Chris of Hillsboro, NC; six grandchildren, Lianna Maier, Chelsea Maier, Megan Patton-Lopaz, Deena Patton, Jacob Joyner and Sarah Joyner; two sisters, Janice Corbin and Sharon Yarberry, both of Columbia, KY; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at graveside at 1:00 p.m. Thurday afternoon in Daughtery Cemetery in Columbus, IN. Condolences to the Patton family may be emailed to alexfuneralsvc @bellsouth.net.
