Evelyn Hughes

Evelyn Hughes, 75, of the Flatwoods community, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 12:05 A.M. at Summit Manor Health & Rehab.
She was a daughter of the late Samuel Zachariah & Effie Staton Hughes, a member of Santa Fee Baptist Church, a retired educator from the Adair County School System and a member of the Adair Co. Retired Teacher's Association
Survivors include, two sisters, Emma Hughes and Christine Wilkinson both of Columbia several nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside service will be held Today, Tuesday. April 8, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Lasley Cemetery with Rev. Louis Henry officiating with burial to follow.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
