An Adair County Grand Jury on Tuesday indicted a woman on criminal abuse charges for allegedly withholding food from minor children for up to four days at a time

An Adair County Grand Jury on Tuesday indicted a woman on criminal abuse charges for allegedly withholding food from minor children for up to four days at a time. Terri N. Boschee, 44, was indicted on four counts of criminal abuse first degree for the incidents, which allegedly occurred between 2000 and 2006. According to the indictments, during this time period, Boschee “intentionally withheld food from the children (who were identified in the indictment only by their initials and date of birth) for up to four days as a form of discipline or punishment.” In other action resulting from meetings of the grand jury on Tuesday and on Nov. 14, indictments were returned Tuesday against 18 other individuals. Indicted were: •Christian N. Wheeler, 32, one count of escape first degree, one count of assault third degree, one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $300, and three counts of persistent felony offender first degree. •Patricia Lynn Patterson, 36, •Mary Santiago, 44, one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument second degree. •James Dewayne Stotts, 30, one count of flagrant nonsupport and one count of persistent felony offender first degree. •Cagney Burton, 21, one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $300. •Justin Coomer, one count of theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $300. •Tessa N. Salmon, 25, one count of DUI, aggravated circumstances, fourth or subsequent offense in a five-year period, and one count of disregarding a stop sign. •Ramey Coleman Dykes, 22, one count of burglary third degree and one count of theft by unlawful taking over $300. •Billy Wayne Shearer, Jr., 26, one count of burglary third degree and one count of theft by unlawful taking over $300. •Gregory Allen Thomas, 24, one count of burglary third degree and one count of theft by unlawful taking over $300. •Donna Sue Yates, 43, indicted on a total of 12 separate charges as a result of two separate incidents: two counts of DUI fourth or subsequent offense in a five year period, two counts of operating on a suspended or revoked license for DUI, one count of criminal trespass first degree, one count of no/expired registration plates, one count of no insurance, one count of possession of a controlled substance - cocaine, one count of possession of marijuana, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of possession of a controlled substance not in the original container, and one count of possession of a controlled substance third degree. •Timothy W. Barrett, 48, one count of receiving stolen property less than $300. •Michael Grant, 46, one count of criminal mischief third degree. •Ricky Dale George, 38, one count of receiving stolen property less than $300. •Fabian Rodriguez, 29, one count of assault fourth degree and one count of resisting arrest. •Jennifer A. Hernandez, 36, one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument second degree. •Christopher Caldwell, 30, one count of criminal possession of a forged instrument second degree, and one count of persistent felony offender second degree. •Melvin J. Wooten, 25, one count of receiving stolen property over $300. An indictment does not determine guilt or innocence, it is only a formal charge.
