TWO ADAIR MEN ARRESTED FOR POT CULTIVATION

Two Adair County men were arrested in separate incidents last week and charged with cultivating marijuana.On Wednesday afternoon, Rand Duncan, 66, of Columbia, was arrested at 2:58 p.m. five miles south of Columbia on the Old Johnson School Road and charged with cultivating marijuana over five plants, second offense.Friday morning at 10:09 a.m., Glenn R. Murphy, 51, of Columbia, was arrested seven miles north of Columbia on Farris Road and charged with cultivating marijuana, five or more plants, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.Both men were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. Both arrests were made by Trooper B.J. Burton.
