Senior Day At The Park A Big Success

The Adair County Senior Citizens Day in the Park turned out to be a big success as over 100 seniors, friends and others turn out to celebrate.
Adair County Senior Citizens Center Director JoAnn Smith had a great day planned full of games, food fun and friends and prize giveaways.
The seniors enjoyed games like corn hole, ring toss and lawn darts jus to name a few, followed by a free lunch.
The day was planned to help introduce the community and senior citizens to the activities and services the Adair County Senior Center has to offer, and according to Smith that is exactly what happened.
"The day was a great success and we are glad so many people were able to attend," said Smith. "With this year's success were are hoping to have another Senior Day in the Park next year."
