ACHS Baseball Field Will Get Free Makeover

Adair County High School Baseball coach Ryan McQueary received the official word last week that the Adair County field will be receiving a makeover.
The Kellogg's Frosted Flakes Plant A Seed program sent McQueary an e-mail to inform him that a representative will be contacting him this week about the details of the field makeover.
According to the official rules of the contest each of the 30 fields that received the most votes would get a field makeover not to exceed $15,000 per field.
Adair County finished in 5th place and earned the right to be reviewed by the judge's panel which made the final decisions for the makeover.
The voting process ran from May 1st through May 31st and with the help of the Adair County community as well surrounding counties and others, McQueary has received the final word and will be receiving an information packet in the mail this week.
"I would like to thank the community and all those who helped us get this done because it something that we have needed for a very long time," stated McQueary.
"I was told that UPS will be delivering an information packet and the sooner we get it filled out and sent back the sooner we can get the ball rolling for the makeover."
