Summer School Begins Tuesday
The Summer School session for students in the Adair County School System will get underway on Tuesday, June 9, and will run through Tuesday, June 30. According to Extended School Services Coordinator Sandy Curry, the summer school session is for students in grades four through 12 who have failed and need to retake a class. All classes will be held at Adair County High School, and the school day will run from 7:20 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. each day. A free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students. Curry said that students in grades four through eight have to be referred by school personnel in order attend summer school. High school students may check with Mrs. Curry on classes that will be available by calling 634-0978. Transportation will be provided for all students. Following is a list of bus drivers who will be working the summer school session, the routes they will be driving, and their phone numbers. To ensure a student is picked up, call the driver who will be running the route where you live. The drivers are: •Michelle Foster, Bus #64.
