Dean Captures B-Ball Contest

With 18 games correct Craig Dean is this week's basketball contest first place winner.
Dean notched the second place finisher Ramona Dial of Columbia who picked 17 games correct.
Dean takes home the $25.00 first place prize along with a Sonic Combo Value Meal and a Subway Breakfast Omelet Sandwich while Dial gets the second place prize of a six-pack if Ski from Western KY, Coca-Cola Bottling, a Sonic Combo Meal and a Subway Omelet Sandwich.
The race for third was a four-way tie between Josh Loy and Stephanie Shuck of Columbia, Dean Back of Russell Springs and Kody Pickett of Jamestown.
All four of the contestants had 16 games correct and the contest went to the tiebreaker game of Kentucky and LSU.
In a buzzer beater, the Tigers hit a three point shot to top the Wildcats 73-70.
Of the four contestants, Back and Shuck picked the Tigers to beat the Cats while Pickett and Loy picked the Cats to win.
Back and Shuck faced off for the third place position and Shuck came out the winner by picking the Cats to lose by 4-points while Back had them losing by seven.
Shuck takes home the third place prize of a Sonic Combo Meal and a Subway Omelet Sandwich and the random drawing winner for Sonic Combo Meal was Derrick Murphy of Columbia.
