Loy Wins B-Ball Contest
In a stand-alone victory Allen Loy of Columbia picked 18 games correctly to win this week's basketball contest. Loy will take home the first place prize of $25.00 along with a Sonic Combo Value Meal and a Subway Breakfast Omelet Sandwich. The run for second place came down to a two-way tie between Danny Goodin and Anthony Riddle, both of Columbia, with 17-games correctly picked pushing the contest to the tiebreaker game of Kentucky and Tennessee. In a walk away victory the Wildcats pummeled the Volunteers by 19-points 77-58. Both Goodin and Riddle picked the Cats to win but Riddle showed a little more faith in the boys in blue giving them 10-points while Goodin gave them six. As a result, Riddle will take home the second place prize of a six-pack if Ski from Western KY, Coca-Cola Bottling, a Sonic Combo Meal and a Subway Omelet Sandwich and Gooding will get the third place prize of the Sonic Combo Meal and a Subway Omelet Sandwich. In the random drawing for a sonic combo meal, Cheyanne Shuck of Columbia was selected as this week's lucky winner.
