Joseph Dylan Baker is First Baby of 2007

A young Columbia couple celebrated the New Year with the arrival of the their first baby and the first baby of the New Year and won the Adair Progress First Baby of 2007 Contest. Joseph Dylan Baker was born on January 3, 2007 at 6:08 p.m. at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, to Latisha George and Joe Baker of Columbia. Joseph weighed in at 7 pounds and 5 ounces and after a brief stay at the hospital, returned home with his parents. Joseph is the first grandbaby to maternal grandparents, Wayne and Valerie George of Columbia and is a welcome addition to paternal grandmother Penelope Baker of Columbia.
