Adair Man Arrested For Bootlegging

A Columbia man was arrested last week on charges of bootlegging after selling alcohol to an uncover police officer.
According to the report issued by the Columbia Police Department, 36-year old Phillip Crawhorn of 164 Parrott Ave. was arrested at 7:15 p.m. last Wednesday for allegedly selling alcohol to an undercover Columbia Police Officer.
The report states that after Crawhorn sold the alcohol to the officer, a search warrant was served at the residence on Parrott Ave. where a large amount of alcohol and cash were found.
Crawhorn was arrested and charged with the illegal sale of alcohol in a dry territory and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Columbia Police Officer Jr. Murphy.
