Crocus Creek Wall Slated To Be Completed By Next Week

After almost 2-months of construction the Crocus Creek retaining wall and Melson Ridge Road project will be completed next week.
According to Adair County Judge Executive Office Administrator Lisa Lee the Adair County Road Crew took down the concrete forms yesterday and will begin back filling the area between the 310-foot long, 12-foot high wall today or Wednesday.
The wall was built to keep the creek from washing away a large section of Melson Ridge Road that was in jeopardy of collapsing.
The road crew poured the third and final top section of the wall last Friday and will now start the process of filling the entire length behind the wall with dirt, rocks and sand.
